Richmond Methodist Church is undertaking a reordering project that seeks to provide more accessible and inclusive accommodation for the church and the wider community in Richmond. The front of the building, the main sanctuary space, will be retained and upgraded. The rear of the building, which is a collection of buildings and spaces that have been heavily altered over time, will be demolished to provide space for a new extension to better serve the needs of the community.

The proposal has been discussed at public consultations and in church meetings and the client is preparing for the first round of fundraising applications.
